Dovo Solingen - Pearlex Open Razor

One of Dovo's most elegant razors, finished in gold, silver and mother of pearl, it is without question beautiful to look at, but it is also beautifully well balanced giving you the best control while shaving. The blade is a full hollow ground 5/8 blade produced by one of Dovo's skilled craftsmen from high carbon steel, made to a style that dates back to the 19th century.
The handle is made from a strikingly realistic imitation mother of pearl and the decoration is done with 24k gold.

Straight edge razors give you the closest possible shave, but they do take some getting used to. Acquiring the techniques of using a straight razor, however, are well worth the effort, after you have mastered the skill, you will use a straight razor for the rest of your life.
