Simpson & Co makes shaving brushes to a standard unmatched by any other maker of traditional badger hair shaving brushes. Each brush is made by hand using a technique which hasn't changed since the company was founded, and each shaving brush is made using the finest badger hair sourced from China and graded into super, best and pure. The density of a Simpsons brush is apparent when you squeeze the brush just above the handle, Simpsons do not use hard corks or cement to create the impression of a dense brush and you can feel how much badger hair they've packed in. Simpsons began making shaving brushes almost 100 years ago in London, after their factory was destroyed during the second world war they relocated to Somerset where they continue producing hand made shaving brushes
